2027 Season Ticket Renewal Procedures
Welcome to the 2027 Season!
We're thrilled to welcome you back as a season ticket holder for our third year at The Ruth. The 2027 season brings exciting updates to both the Smith Grand Theater and Lindsay Legacy Theater, creating new opportunities for immersive storytelling and bringing audiences even closer to the action.
We've also introduced more package options than ever before, giving you greater flexibility and some of our best season ticket savings yet. Combined with expanded subscriber benefits and enhanced ticketing tools, 2027 is designed to make your theater experience more convenient, rewarding, and memorable than ever.
Here's what to expect when you renew your package.
Important Dates
July 6 - 28 : Rollover Period
Renew your 2027 season package with the same seats and performance week, or select new package dates and seats before they become available to the general public. You may purchase up to eight season ticket packages online and add tickets for A Christmas Carol 2026.
July 29 - August 2: Exchange Period
If you have already purchased your 2027 season package, you may use your online account to exchange tickets for alternate dates. Flex Package holders may also reserve their performance dates during this period.
August 3: Season Tickets On Sale to the Public
Remaining season tickets become available to everyone, as well as individual tickets to A Christmas Carol 2026. Current season ticket holders may purchase additional single tickets at this time.
September 7: Single Tickets On Sale to the Public
All individual tickets for the 2027 season go on sale.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I renew my season tickets?
To renew your existing season tickets with the same seats and performance week, log in to your online account at TheRuth.org. Under Offers, you'll find your renewal package with your current seats and dates preselected. Your seats will be held until the end of the day on July 28. If you prefer, you may also schedule an appointment with the Box Office to renew in person or over the phone.
What are the Rollover and Exchange Period?
Rollover Period:
Renew your same season ticket package—same seats, same performance weeks. You can also request any changes at this time.
Exchange Period:
Season Ticket holders may access their online account to exchange dates. Flex Package holders may go in and make individual show reservations.
How do I change the kind of package or the package night?
If you would like to change your package type, performance week, or seats, simply decline your renewal offer. You will then be able to browse available inventory and select new package dates and seating before they become available to the general public. A maximum of eight season ticket packages may be purchased online.
When can I make reservations with my Flex Package?
Flex Package holders may begin reserving seats for individual performances on July 29 during the Exchange Period. Reservations can be made at any time through your online account, allowing you to book the entire season at once or reserve performances as your schedule allows. Once your reservation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
How do I reserve additional single tickets?
Season ticket holders will receive exclusive early access to individual tickets beginning August 3. A personalized link will be emailed to you at that time.
Individual tickets will become available to the general public on September 7.
What if I need to change a few dates in my package?
As part of your season ticket benefits, you receive one complimentary exchange per production. Beginning July 29, you may use your online account to exchange into a different performance date if you already know your scheduling needs.
Please note that once an exchange has been completed, it will count as your included exchange for that production. If your new seats are located in a higher-priced section, you will be responsible for any applicable price difference.
If you are unsure of your plans, you may choose to save your complimentary exchange and use it later in the season.
How do I renew fewer Season Tickets than I currently have?
If you’d like to renew fewer packages than you had last year, just contact the box office during the Rollover Period and we’ll be happy to help adjust your order.
Please note: if you renew online, you’ll only be able to renew the exact number of packages listed on your account.
How can I renew Season Tickets for someone else as a gift?
We’d love to help you share the gift of theater! To renew tickets for someone else, simply schedule an appointment during the Rollover Period. Our Box Office staff will walk you through the process and make sure everything is set up just right.
How do I renew in person or over the phone?
Set an appointment using the link sent out in a renewal notification email, or call the Box Office at 801-226-8600 for assistance.
How do I purchase tickets for "A Christmas Carol"?
When renewing your Season Tickets online during the Rollover Period, you'll find a link on the cart page to purchase tickets for A Christmas Carol. If you miss this link or need assistance, please call our Box Office at 801-226-8600—we're happy to help!
Can I choose different package dates or seating levels for each theater?
No. If you are selecting new seats rather than renewing your existing package, you may choose different pricing tiers, performance weeks, and seating locations for the Smith Grand Theater and the Lindsay Legacy Theater.
During the renewal process, you will select a package and seats for each theater independently, allowing you to mix and match options based on your preferences and schedule. Please note that the package dates and seating selections you choose for 2027 will become your renewal package for the next season.
