Join us for our third annual theater summer camp! Imagine a week filled with games, performances, learning about theater, new friends and fun! Learn from professional performers in workshops covering acting, dance, improvisation, Shakespeare, musical theater, and singing! Concludes with a showcase performance on the brand new stages at The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater.

The Ruth & Ballet West | Musical Theater Summer Workshop
Expand your child's horizons with a unique camp led by two premier arts organizations—The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater and Ballet West. With world-class instructors, this two-week curriculum empowers both new and experienced performers to develop a foundation in singing, dancing, and acting. Held at the Fredrick Quinney Lawson Ballet West Academy in Utah County, the program culminates in a showcase performance on the brand new stages of The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater.

Stage Combat Summer Camp
Take your acting skills to the next level with an unforgettable week of stage combat training! In this high-energy camp, students ages 12–18 will dive into the exciting world of unarmed fight choreography and swordplay, learning how to bring action-packed scenes to life with intensity, realism, and total safety. Through dynamic exercises and professional techniques, campers will build strength, focus, and confidence—onstage and off. They'll sharpen their acting by exploring intention, connection, and commitment, and discover how mastering stage combat sets them apart in auditions and performances. Your week will end with a showcase studio fight to show-off what you've learned. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just love a good sword fight, this camp is your chance to shine!

Shakespeare Summer Camp
Unlock the power of Shakespeare and make the Bard’s words your own! In this week-long camp, students ages 12–18 will dive into the thrilling world of Shakespearean performance. Through hands-on workshops and scene work, young actors will explore powerful speeches and dramatic scenes from some of Shakespeare’s most iconic plays. Along the way, they’ll uncover the secrets of Shakespeare’s language—starting with the principles of rhetoric—and learn how to bring each word to life with clarity, confidence, and passion. By the end of the week, students will walk away with a deeper appreciation for this timeless work and the skills to tackle it like a pro.
