Arts Access at The Ruth

Connecting Students to the power of Live Theater

Arts Access at The Ruth is The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater’s community access program designed to connect students, educators, and community groups with the transformative experience of live performance. We’re thrilled to welcome educators, their students, parent chaperones, and qualified non-profit organizations to experience the power of live theater together.

Through Arts Access, participating groups can reserve discounted tickets for select performances throughout the season, with pricing starting at just $10 per student ($5 for youth stage productions). These performances offer students the opportunity to experience professional theater in an inspiring and welcoming environment while engaging with storytelling, music, and theatrical artistry that sparks imagination, empathy, and creative thinking.

Program Requirements & Guidelines

Arts Access is designed specifically for educational groups and qualified non-profit organizations.

• A minimum of 10 attendees is required per reservation
• Each organization may participate once per calendar year (based on availability)
• Educational groups may include one (1) parent chaperone per 10 students at the discounted rate
• Additional adult tickets beyond this ratio must be purchased at standard pricing
• Full payment is required in advance to confirm and hold reserved seats
• Reservations are subject to availability and may be declined based on capacity or performance demand

Reservations & Availability

Available performances are weeknights at 7:30 PM in either the Smith Grand Theater or the Lindsay Legacy Stage. Select youth stage performances are held weekdays at 4:30 PM. 

Space is limited and reservations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Schools and organizations are encouraged to request seats early for the 2026 season. To inquire about availability or reserve seats, please complete the request form below.
