A Note from the Director
On behalf of the production team of Frozen, we are thrilled to invite you to audition and become part of The Ruth family. We had such a wonderful experience with in-person auditions for The Addams Family, and we’re excited to continue that process with Frozen. There is something truly special about gathering together and feeling the energy, connection, and excitement of a live audition. Whether you join us in person or virtually, we are grateful for the time, talent, and heart you bring to this process.
This production of Frozen will be a magical and heartwarming story centered on sisterhood and the way love has the power to thaw and transform even the most guarded world. Through a vibrant and expressive ensemble, paired with immersive design, we will bring the Kingdom of Arendelle to life in a way younger audiences will instantly recognize and adore while still creating a theatrical experience that resonates with patrons of all ages.
We are seeking actors who can bring emotional truth to a beloved fairy tale. Physicality and movement will play a significant role in shaping the environment and driving the storytelling, with dance and ensemble work helping to create a dynamic and living world onstage.
This enchanted kingdom will be brought to life by an incredible creative team, including Kacey Udy as Scenic Designer, Sayoko Knode as Choreographer, Justin Bills as Music Director, Brighton Sloan as Assistant Director, and Jordan Liau as Production Stage Manager.
We look forward to seeing you, whether in person or virtually, and cannot wait to begin this magical journey together.
-Jenny Barlow, Director

A Note About Casting -
At The Ruth & Nathan Hale Theater, we seek to honor the intentions of the works we produce. If nothing specific is given by the original playwright regarding the characteristics of any given role, and/or if those characteristics do not affect the intended story in any significant way, we will not consider any certain person or type over others when casting.
We invite anyone and everyone to audition for any and all of our productions, regardless of any physical attribute, gender, race, age, ability, ethnicity, orientation, or experience. All are welcome at The Ruth.
Our company traditionally works with a double-cast system. Moving forward, we are looking to increase the number of performers who are single-cast (performing in all scheduled performances). This will help maintain consistency and streamline the rehearsal/performance process.
If you can commit to a single cast role, please indicate that on your audition form.
We understand that not everyone can make this level of commitment. If you are only available for double-casting, we still welcome and encourage you to audition.
